Choose from conventional, combi or system boilers

When it comes to installing a new boiler or upgrading an old one, S.J. Denness Gas Services know how important it is that you understand how the different types that are available operate. This will help you to decide which is the right one for you and your household.

Helpful and practical advice

These days, there are three main types of water boiler available; conventional, combi and system. Each type has differing features and benefits. Knowing these will ensure that you choose the right one.

The most popular choice is a combi boiler. These provide hot water for both your central heating system and your taps. Water may take a short time to heat but they offer a cost-effective way of providing as much hot water as you need.

Conventional boilers send hot water to a cylinder and to your radiators. Therefore the hot water available is limited by the capacity of the cylinder. You will need to have a cold water tank and hot water cylinder in your home. These are often fitted into your home's loft.

System boilers work like conventional boilers but usually require programmable control units to heat your water before you need it. Whether you need a new boiler or your existing one servicing, please feel free to call us to discuss your requirements.
